Was originally opened as the Orpheum Theatre, then changed to Vitaphone Movietone, and later the Kent Theatre. 322 Monroe Street. Butterfield Theatres. Demolished during urban renewal in the 1960s.

This theater closed sometime in the 50s. It was a nice building in what was then a nice, but declining area of downtown Grand Rapids. The urban renewal people got not only this theater, but a landmark in Kutsche's Hardware next door.
